I began my professional training in 1998 after a lifelong interest in natural health.  My mother had a severe stroke when I was 12 years old and spent two years in hospital.  She is still disabled but lives independently, she works part time at an occupational health centre which I have visited many times. I also treat disabled clients in their own homes with The Bowen Technique, which they find really helps them.

 

I began professional practise at The Kent Clinic of Natural Medicine, East Molesey, Surrey in 2002 and went on to manage the clinic.  Initially I practised Aromatherapy massage (distinction) and Holistic Massage after qualifying along with Anatomy and physiology.  I studied for five years to advanced level in spiritual healing and worked in a healing centre with The National Federation of Spiritual Healers (now The Healing Trust).  I have since qualified in many therapies but only actively use a few of them: Nutritional & health, The Bowen Technique (advanced), Usui Reiki Master/Teacher, Melody Crystal Healing and Spagyric Medicine.

 

After practising massage for years my wrist joints were very painful and I developed a painful ganglion on my right wrist.  I needed to retrain to relieve the strain and heard about the effectiveness of The Bowen Technique.  My own son suffered from asthma and with Bowen, Nutrition and Spagyric medicine and he is now very healthy.  My ganglion has also completely disappeared. Since beginning my Bowen journey in 2004 I feel so fortunate to have learnt this wonderful technique and marvel at its results all the time.  I have continued my Bowen post graduate training to date, details on the Bowen page.

 

My Reiki journey began in 2003 when I was invited to do my Reiki I course.  It began another healing journey for me and I finally completed my Master/Teacher course in 2007. I really enjoy passing the teachings to others and believe as many as possible should be Reiki attuned to bring this wonderful energy into their lives.

 

I have also completed five years training with Phylak Spagyric medicine.  Another ‘calling’!  A highly effective medicine which complements my other work but is also valuable as a standalone therapy.

 

I am CRB checked.

 

I now live in Elstead, nr Godalming, Surrey with my son, Cavalier king charles and cat.  I still work part-time at Kents.
